RED DOT SIGHTS
There’s a lot more to red dots than just mounting one and hoping for the best. With so many styles, sizes, and reticle options, it’s hard to know what’s right for you — and just as important, how to actually use it under stress. From proper zeroing and presentation to learning when red dots help (and when they don’t), it takes practice and the right guidance to get it right.
Red Dot Sights
A red dot is only fast if you can find it — we’ll make sure you can.
Common Issues with Red Dots
- I can’t find the dot quickly. Under stress, many shooters lose the reticle during presentation or recoil.
- My dot feels off at longer distances. Without zeroing and confidence at range, shooters struggle beyond close quarters.
- It feels slower than iron sights. Misalignment and poor habits make red dots feel sluggish instead of fast.
- I don’t know how to adjust it properly. Battery settings, co-witnessing, brightness, and dot size often confuse new users.
